PaperPetal Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) creates personalized hardcover children's storybooks. By placing an order or using our website at paperpetal.studio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or place an order.

2. Eligibility

Our site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or are using the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

3. Our Products

All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. The price shown at the time you place your order is the price you will be charged.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, for example if a product is unavailable or if we suspect fraudulent activity. We will notify you promptly if this occurs and issue a full refund.

You are responsible for ensuring that all order details — including the child's name, the photo you upload, and your shipping address — are accurate before submitting. We begin production shortly after an order is placed and may not be able to accommodate corrections once production has started.

5. Photo Submissions

By uploading a photo of a child you confirm that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the child, or have their parent's or guardian's express permission to submit the photo.
• The photo does not depict nudity or anything otherwise inappropriate.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the photo solely for the purpose of creating your personalized book.

We handle photos in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not use submitted photos to train AI models or for any commercial purpose beyond fulfilling your order.

6. Payment

Payment is collected in full at the time of order. We use a third-party payment processor to handle transactions securely. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. By providing your payment information you authorise us to charge the total order amount, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees.

7. Production & Shipping

Each book is handcrafted to order. Production typically takes 3–4 weeks from the date of your order. Shipping times vary depending on your location and the carrier selected at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, adverse weather, or other events outside our control. We will do our best to keep you informed if a significant delay arises.

8. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

Because every book is personalized, we are generally unable to accept returns or offer refunds once production has begun. Please review our Refund & Return Policy for full details, including what happens if your book arrives damaged or is lost in transit.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, illustrations, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of PaperPetal Studios and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any site content without our prior written consent.

When you purchase a book, you receive a physical copy for personal, non-commercial use. The underlying artwork, story text, and design remain our intellectual property.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaperPetal Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our site or products.

Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and products are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error- free operation of the site. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the site or our product catalog at any time without notice.
